In 2014 Georgie was announced as the new host of BBC Radio 5Live’s hit show Fighting Talk alongside comedian Josh Widdicombe. 2013 was an exciting year for Georgie as she relocated to New York to join Regis Philbin on Fox Sport 1’s daily live show Crowd Goes Wild – an original sports and discussion show.

Prior to her move, Georgie spent 2012 travelling the globe presenting Sky Sports Formula 1 coverage for Sky Sports F1 HD. Hosting her own pre race weekend magazine show every Friday evening throughout the season, The F1 Show, presenting race coverage over race weekends and conducting weekly big name interviews for the channel.

Previously she presented on Sky Sports News, anchoring the flagship programmes Afternoon Report and Evening Update from 3-7pm Tuesday to Friday.

Georgie was also a regular panelist alongside Freddie Flintoff, Jamie Redknapp and John Bishop on Sky 1’s A League of Their Own presented by James Corden. A mixture of sports and comedy the show is in its seventh series and Georgie still contributes where her schedule allows.

Her other roles with Sky Sports have seen Georgie host the A1 Grand Prix motor racing series, US Open tennis, Speedway World Cup and other live outside broadcasts including The Goodwood Festival of Speed, Superset Tennis and the Race of Champions at Wembley. Georgie also voices Sky Sport’s Premier League Years series now in its 14th season.

Georgie is a regular contributor on a variety of current affairs and discussion shows including Dermot O Leary’s Radio 2 programme, Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff and ITV’s This Morning.

Away from television, Georgie co-wrote her first novel The Twitter Diaries with Imogen Lloyd Webber in May 2011. The book went on to become a best seller on Amazon.

After graduating from Leeds University with a 2:1 in Broadcast Journalism, Georgie worked as a runner at GMTV before becoming a researcher on Entertainment Today. A chance opportunity to front a web broadcast from the Cannes Film Festival in 2000 led to a screen test at Sky Sports and the rest, as they say, is history.

“Please pass on my thanks to Georgie for a fantastic job… We’ve had great feedback from sponsors and guests about the event as a whole and Georgie in particular. She managed to hit just the right tone of delivery for us and we’re really grateful for what she brought to the day… She was so easy to work with and the kind of calm, collected presence that we always hope for from our host on what is always a rather stressful day for our small team!”  Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards
